On June 23rd 2017, the opening ceremony of the ‘Micro Reactor Application Technology Cooperation Laboratory’, established by Hebei University of Technology & Shenzhen E-Zheng Technology Co. Ltd., was held in Tianjin (China).

With its prestigious track record in teaching, winning National and Provincial Teaching Achievement awards, the Chemical Engineering Institute of Hebei University of Technology is an ideal location for a Cooperation Laboratory, giving it a pivotal role in ensuring the next generation enter the industry skilled in the art of flow chemistry.

In addition, the strong technological innovation that runs through its research, demonstrated by over 1200 peer-reviewed publications and 125 patents, will give rise to important scientific contributions by Hebei University of Technology in both academic and industrial flow chemistry.

Continuous Flow reactors manufactured by Chemtrix BV (The Netherlands), whose agent in China is Shenzhen E-Zheng Technology Co. Ltd, provide the platform for these training and research activities.  Hebei University of Technology and Shenzhen E-Zheng Technology Co. Ltd., will work together to promote and develop continuous flow technology in China to realise these goals.

At the opening ceremony, academicians including Prof. Zhao, Party Secretary of Chemical Engineering Institute of Hebei University of Technology and Prof. Cao, Vice President, introduced the importance of talent training in new technologies, emphasizing the importance of cooperating with industry in these activities –the Cooperation Laboratory being an ideal foundation for this.
