Chemtrix launches new, upgraded software for Labtrix S1 system
Designed to enable the rapid optimisation of reaction conditions
The Labtrix®-S1 software is designed to enable the rapid optimisation of conditions such as reactant stoichiometry, reaction time and temperature in micro reactors.
The Labtrix®-S1 software upgrade includes a user friendly interface, which guides the user through the steps required to set-up automated flow reactions. With input parameters including reaction time, temperature and stoichiometry (equivalents), the software automatically calculates the flow rates and reactant volumes required based on a series of pre-loaded reactor types and supplied reactant concentrations. Conditional programming allows the user to define the type of sample collected i.e. based on time, temperature reached, total volume or dispensed volume and automatically calculates the run time required to execute the program. With a real-time graphical interface the user can monitor flow rate, temperature, system pressure and sample collection point as the micro reactions progress; with all parameters archived for subsequent assessment.
The software upgrade contains;
- Pre-loaded reactor configurations
- Automatic calculation of flow rates
When supplied with target residence time and reagent stoichiometry
- Conditional sampling for up to 29 independent samples
- Real-time graphical interface
- Automatic shutdown allows un-attended operation within a standard laboratory fume cupboard
If pressure/temperature set points are not met
